William Robinson Creation, Landscape Man and the Spheres II 1991. Oil on Canvas

Describe how the artwork has been drawn/painted?
What techniques can you that the artist has used? What is unique about the work, ie, perspective, technique, media etc?

William Robinson used many different and interesting aspects of the work to establish a story of the land. He has used a change in perspective as though you are in the habitat, and you are floating and looking at the forest, the lake and the moon in the Gold Coast Hinterland. As though, you are placed inside the atmosphere. The perspective technique used is sort of similar to a panorama image, giving you every aspect of the forest. Robinson uses rough and straight lines in colouring in the trees of the forest and other areas, giving this tough and rough look to the forest, showing you what the land is capable of.
